Industrial Valve Sales and Service is seeking a talented Control Valve Technician for their location in Bastrop, LA. The role will involve Shop & Field work on Control Valve repairs, including cleaning, maintaining equipment, and supporting other technicians.

Responsibilities

Follows safety and quality procedures
Must be able to read measuring/scaling devices
Control Valve Tech responsibilities
Cleaning, blasting, and painting valve components
Support Control Valve Tech by mentoring
Operate equipment (overhead hoist, blaster, parts washer, torch, etc.)
Enjoy doing mechanical work
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Maintain equipment in area, as required
May be required to help in field assignments
Required to climb and work at various elevations depending on job scope
Must be able to operate motor vehicle
Must have a safety awareness in the industrial workplace
Must be able to document and enter job data

Qualification

Control Valve ExperienceBasic OSHA Safety TrainingJob Specific CertificationTWIC CertificationDiploma

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent
5 years or more control valve industrial experience
Must be able to read measuring/scaling devices
Follows safety and quality procedures
Control Valve Tech responsibilities
