They are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the opening of a new facility near Salem, Virginia, focusing on the maintenance and optimization of manufacturing equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities
Analyzes mechanical, electrical, and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action to maintain maximum production and quality
Reading and comprehension of Electrical schematics
Tests newly installed or refurbished equipment to ensure fulfillment to specification and safety
Immediately respond to maintenance issues when production has stopped due to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic problems
Performs preventive maintenance on equipment to reduce downtime
Maintain and monitor inventory of maintenance equipment and parts. Order new parts as necessary
Install and maintain program modifications for all machines
Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager for the installation and removal of equipment
Complete purchase order requisitions for all purchased goods, equipment, or services
Will be required to work necessary overtime and have shift flexibility
Qualification
Required
