Responsibilities

Performing all preventative maintenance and repair on a wide range of equipment, including but not limited to SMETCO, Palamatic, forklifts, compressors, and various production equipment
Maintaining and repairing building infrastructure such as electrical systems, plumbing, lighting, and HVAC
Managing the on-site forklift driver's certification program, ensuring all drivers are certified and their certifications are current
Maintaining all logs related to machinery and ensuring all maintenance logs are current and accurate
Adhering to all safety and environmental policies and procedures
Maintaining an inventory of spare parts
Managing relationships with vendors and ensuring the accuracy of services and charges
Working closely with customers to ensure that reporting and reimbursable expenses are obtained on a monthly basis

Required

Proven experience in facility and equipment maintenance
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Experience with preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment and building systems (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
Excellent organizational skills for managing logs, certifications, and spare parts inventory
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing vendor and customer relationships
A deep understanding of safety and environmental policies
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift for extended periods
Must be able to lift heavy materials and equipment as needed for repairs
Requires good manual dexterity and physical stamina for maintenance tasks
Must be able to work in confined spaces and at various heights
