Maintenance Technician III

The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, maintaining production and facility equipment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.

Responsibilities

Maintain equipment while performing basic mechanical and electrical repair work
Notice and report any abnormal conditions/failures
Perform machinery and basic equipment examinations and report to supervisors
Perform machine shop functions (sheet metal, steel layout and welding)
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
Follow company policy, processes and action plans as it relates to all plant machinery
Must follow and understand production daily goals and requirements
Perform general housekeeping
Understand and follow Work Instructions
Detect and report defective materials
Dispose of contaminated work materials in appropriate containers
Follow and maintain good housekeeping and hygiene practices

Electrical systems troubleshootingMechanical systems troubleshootingForklift CertifiedMS OfficeCommunication skills

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
6 months – 1-year experience in an industrial environment working within a maintenance (electrical) department as a Maintenance Electrician/ Technician
Good writing and communication skills
Basic understanding of MS Office (Word / Excel)
Forklift Certified
