Responsibilities

Monitor system resources and analyze the impact of operating system changes
Apply operating system changes and manage software updates
Act as the subject matter expert on select system applications such as ERP System and define and configure communication networks
Coordinate installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software updates with IT Team members
Oversee backups and system restores
Monitor and analyze system errors, and work with service personnel for customer problem resolution
Develop curriculum and provide training to end-users on enterprise application usage
Analyze system faults, troubleshoot, and run diagnostic tests on operating systems and hardware to detect problems
Research, recommend, and deploy IT hardware, software, and services
Implement automation solutions to streamline IT processes and improve efficiency

Required

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Computer Information Systems from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education and two (2) years of enterprise software/hardware installation, configuration, and support experience; or six (6) years of enterprise software/hardware installation, configuration, and support experience
must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license and the ability to be covered by county insurance
Considerable knowledge of centralized computer operating system environment and procedures
Considerable knowledge of centralized computer communications and networking
Considerable knowledge of centralized computer performance configuration
Considerable knowledge of Office 365 Enterprise
Considerable knowledge of VMWare VCenter/ESXi
Considerable knowledge of Active Directory (On-Premise and Azure)
Considerable knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server + (Including Reporting Services and Azure SQL as a Service)
Considerable knowledge of record keeping and report preparation
Considerable skill in installing/troubleshooting servers and installing Microsoft Server operating systems
Considerable skill in installing, configuring, documenting, and supporting Microsoft Server in an enterprise environment
Considerable skill in supporting customers and IT teams such as helpdesk and desktop support at tier 2 and tier 3 levels
Considerable skill in administering application software for security, antivirus, and backups – including backup and restore of Microsoft SQL Databases
Considerable skill in user account security management tasks
Considerable skill in project planning, management, and control
Considerable skill in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems and needs applicable to automated information applications and systems
Considerable skill in implementing procedures and methods used in conducting systems analysis
Considerable skill in understanding complex verbal and written instructions
Considerable skill in automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
Considerable skill in familiarity with project management and collaboration tools like monday.com
Considerable skill in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
Considerable skill in cloud services, including Azure and AWS
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to work safely and promote a culture of workplace safety
Ability to problem solve
Ability to plan and manage time
Ability to work well with others
Ability to effectively communicate ideas to technical and non-technical customers verbally and in writing
Ability to read, write, and speak English

Preferred

Preference may be given to individuals with a certification in MCSA, MCSE, or MCP
Preference may be given to individuals who have experience with project management applications and automation tools
