Responsibilities

Work as a team member with other cardiac cath personnel, physicians, customers, and coworkers
Provide the technical expertise necessary to perform procedures required in the Cardiac Cath Lab
Provide a safe and meaningful service to the patient and physician
Familiar with all equipment involved in performing duties
Operate equipment efficiently and accurately
Provide the physicians with reliable data and results at completion of the procedure
May have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role

Required

Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology
ARRT, RCIS, or RCES required
BLS required
ACLS required
Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and sterile technique
The ability to communicate effectively with patients, guest, and hospital personnel
The ability to show compassion and sensitivity for patient comfort
Ability to maintain a professional and customer centric composure in difficult or challenging situations
Ability to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds throughout the organization
Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to guest, visitors, and patients
Knowledge of HIPAA standards and regulations
Position requires sitting for 10% of the workday and mobility 90% of the workday
There is occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action
Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds
There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person
Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range
Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes
Minimal noise levels
Much exposure to computer work
Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock
Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks
Some exposure to hazardous chemicals
Occasional exposure to radiation

Preferred

Cardiac Cath or Special Procedures Radiography experience preferred
