They are seeking a CNC Field Service Technician to perform installation, repair, and maintenance of CNC machinery while traveling to customer locations. The role involves troubleshooting and assisting with the maintenance of stock parts.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of CNC machinery, accessories, and automation equipment
Repair of products at customer locations throughout a region or extended territory
Assembly / modification of standard products on-site
Troubleshoot with end-users and dealers remotely via telephone and email
Assist in maintaining and monitoring stock of repair/installation of parts
Related duties as required

Required

Strong mechanical experience with CNC equipment installation, repair, and maintenance
Working knowledge of Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls a must
Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical systems on CNC machinery
A good understanding of PMC and PLC ladder logic
Must be willing to accommodate frequent travel
Ability to work successfully in a team environment
Strong communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Valid driver's license with good driving record

Preferred

High school education or greater
Technical degree a plus
3+ years of related experience
Industrial mechanic: 1 year
Willingness to travel: 75%
