The Contents Restoration Technician plays a critical role in providing expert cleaning and restoration services, focusing on restoring personal and commercial contents with a customer-first mindset.
Responsibilities
Restore damaged items to pre-loss condition through proper cleaning techniques
Work in both residential and commercial settings to clean, pack, and unpack contents
Participate in on-site mitigation and emergency services
Communicate effectively with property owners, explaining processes and addressing concerns
Maintain regular updates with the project management team
Participate in warehouse cleaning and organization processes
Ensure proper inventory tracking using software tools
Assist with furniture moving and heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs)
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in contents restoration is strongly preferred
Capability to lift and move items up to 75 pounds
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prepare reports, correspondence, and manuals effectively
Able to solve practical problems with limited standardization and interpret various instructions effectively
Preferred
Moving and packing experience is a plus
IICRC certification is a significant advantage
Familiarity with industry-related software, including Encircle, is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant tools
Ability to use smartphones and apps for communication and reporting
