Full time Third Shift Commercial Kitchen Hood Cleaning and Repair Technician

The role of Third Shift Commercial Kitchen Hood Cleaning and Repair Technician involves power washing kitchen exhaust systems and performing minor repairs while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining high service quality standards.

Responsibilities
Power washing kitchen exhaust systems, covering hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans
Efficient setup and takedown of job sites and equipment
Performing tasks independently without direct supervision
Be professional in all activities (showing up on time, making customer driven decisions while on the job site, providing great feedback to team and management)
Maintain and manage equipment, and report any discrepancies
Ability to work on minor repairs
Opportunities to become a foreman and be the lead technician in a two man team and eventually lead multiple crews
Ensure the safety and efficient installation and maintenance of fire safety equipment
Conduct service quality inspections
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Participate in ongoing safety training to maintain a high level of awareness and preparedness
Problem-solving on-site challenges and make recommendations for improvement
Ensure good customer service
Work 40 - 50 hours a week (overtime regularly) - this is a full time position
Qualification
Required
Ability to work on minor repairs
Be physically able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments
Ability to squat, lift, and carry 50 lbs., a minimum of 100 feet
Able to stand for 9-10 hours at a time
Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently
