Responsibilities
Manage electrical and low voltage projects and installations
Cable management and documentation
Install building technology, specifically AV/IT systems, building automation controls, IT Networks
Perform inventory management of equipment and transport to jobsite in a safe and secure manner
Provide leadership assistance to other technicians as required
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years experience installing and troubleshooting Electrical/Low Voltage Systems (Journeyman's License preferred but not required)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction methodology and commercial structured cabling
Systems knowledge and experience with IT networking, Access controls, CCTV CMS, VoIP and VTC Communication Systems
Knowledge of jobsite safety and OSHA regulations
Strong computer skills to manage project reports - This is a must - Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word
A passion for technology and self-initiative towards continuing education
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to interact with employees, customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner, both verbal and written
Ability to work well independently and in team settings
Proficiency in MIS tools such as ERP, BMS, CRM, and MS Office
Adaptability to technology advancements and changing project requirements
Ability to drive a company provided fleet vehicle
Ability to load and unload equipment weighing a minimum of 35 pounds
Be able to regularly climb, descend and work from ladders or lifts up to heights of 25 feet
Ability to work with a safety harness in bucket or boom lift
