Busch Vacuum Solutions is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, compressors, and blowers for various industries. They are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machining and manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform general repairs and maintenance on industrial equipment such as lathes, milling machines, cranes, conveyors, and compressors

Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, industrial power distribution, motors, and lighting

Maintain and repair facility systems including plumbing, lighting, and HVAC

Apply proper lockout/tagout procedures to control hazardous energy

Conduct electrical measurements using a digital multimeter, insulation tester, or similar devices to diagnose and correct faults

Read and interpret machinery manuals, schematics, and flow charts for troubleshooting

Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery and building systems

Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts when working at height

Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards regarding manufacturing and assembly equipment

Demonstrate understanding of mechanical alignment principles and use metrology tools such as calipers and micrometers

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical or Electrical Technology preferred

Minimum 3 years of experience in a mechanical or industrial maintenance role (manufacturing environment preferred)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Valid driver's license (must meet Busch insurance requirements)

Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen and 7-year criminal history check

Most felonies are disqualifying; misdemeanors considered on a case-by-case basis

Must be willing and able to utilize all required PPE

Ability and willingness to travel (up to 5%) domestically and internationally

Ability to work off-hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed

Employment with Busch Vacuum Solutions requires current work authorization in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting, and carrying up to 25 lbs

Occasional climbing, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 50 lbs

Must be able to see and hear audible and visual alarms and wear all required PPE (safety shoes, electrical hazard gear, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.)
