Lead Floor Technician- 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces

Use light and heavy (commercial type) floor (buffers) and shampoo machines including attachments

Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas. Spot clean daily and shampoo when directed

Monitors possible defects such as clogged urinals and lights out, and reports to supervisors

Performs periodic work: strip and refinish VCT, extract carpet, top scrub and recoat VCT, operate rider scrubber in plant area

Training all appropriate personnel on sanitation procedures

Develop sanitation procedures for new equipment new plant areas as needed

Developing, implementing, and maintaining sanitation procedures and programs for areas assigned

Develop and implement sanitation SOPs and specific training for sanitation

Review sanitary procedures and recommend or change as needed

Builds the team by developing hourly sanitation associates
