Responsibilities
Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology
Operates mammography equipment, maintains records, and develops and organizes films for presentation to the radiologist
Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow co-workers, other departments, and Medical Staff
Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor
Qualification
Required
Registered with the ARRT (R) & (M)
State Certified as a General Radiographer
BLS certification
Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Ability to perform all mammographic procedures according to established guidelines utilizing appropriate equipment
Preferred
Certified in Bone Density and Mammo
