Responsibilities

Actively participate in the Duncan Stewart safety process. This includes complying with all safety rules and procedures, being active on a safety team, and achieving 100% in Safety Engagement
Work the scheduled hours
Be available for after hour support on weekend / evenings as required
Able to interact effectively with management, staff, vendors, customers, and work independently, and/or as part of a team

Required

Strong problem solving, technical and analytical skills
Proven ability to function in a self-directed environment as well as work in teams

Ability to communicate professionally during all interfaces
Written and verbal communication skills
2 year electrical, electronics, or electro-mechanical degree from an accredited school or a demonstrated equivalent
Be able to read and understand P& ID and electrical drawings
Ability to size conductors as well as install rigid or flexible conduit associated with field instrumentation installations
Basic understanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and PLC's and the I/O's that interface with the field instrumentation
Ability to lift 50 lbs and be capable of using industrial motorized equipment including lift trucks, boom lifts, etc
Have a basic knowledge of industrial processes to include drive systems, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems
Ability to operate Powered Industrial Equipment (lift truck, walk behind lift, pallet jack)

Preferred

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an industrial environment
PLC programming including graphic interfaces
