Pharmacy Technician - Medication Reconciliation
The University of Washington is seeking a Pharmacy Technician – Medication Reconciliation to join their Harborview Medical Center Pharmacy team. The role involves assisting pharmacists with medication reconciliation, obtaining accurate home medication lists, and training pharmacy technicians, students, and interns.

Responsibilities
Obtain accurate home medication lists from admitted patients primarily through in person patient interviews in the Emergency Room (ER) and inpatient rooms, insurance claims and pharmacy phone calls
Accurately electronically transcribe home medication lists into the electronic health record
Escalate identified patient medication list concerns to pharmacist when needed
Answer inquiries not requiring a pharmacist’s professional judgement
Assist in the training of pharmacy technicians, students, and interns
Participate in monthly outdate and unit inspection program
Perform related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Six months of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant OR equivalent education/experience
State of Washington Pharmacy Technician certification

$4,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible new part-time and full-time employees joining UW Medicine
Night Shift Premium - $2.75/hour
Evening Shift Premium - $2.00/hour
Weekend Shift Premium - $2.50/hour
