Responsibilities

Oversees endoscopy tech assignments, ensuring appropriate case assignments and providing training/support for less experienced staff

Ensures availability and proper processing of sterile endoscopic instruments for surgical cases, including specialized cleaning and assembly

Calibrates, maintains, and troubleshoots specialized motility and endoscopic equipment, coordinating repairs or substitutions as needed

Serves as a technical resource for audiovisual and endoscopic equipment operation, assisting with setup and resolving equipment issues

Manages ordering, restocking, and inventory of endoscopic supplies, ensuring compliance with par levels and resolving delivery or packaging issues

Maintains detailed records of inventory, purchasing, and repairs; handles invoice verification and payment processing

Monitors and reconciles supply and equipment expenses against the budget, identifying variances and contributing to annual budget preparation

Required

High School/GED required

3 Years of related experience with at least one year as Endoscopy Technician

Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) required
