Responsibilities

Inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and machinery
Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential problems
Conduct repairs and replacements of electrical components and systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
Install and upgrade electrical systems and equipment as needed
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
Collaborate with electrical engineers and other technicians to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components
Ensure equipment meets safety and regulatory standards
Diagnose electrical problems by using various testing equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes
Identify the root cause of electrical malfunctions and develop effective repair solutions
Interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints to locate and rectify issues
Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, to prevent accidents and injuries
Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions and equipment breakdowns
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent: technical or vocational training in mechanical maintenance is preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), with the ability to effectively work with others in a team environment
Demonstrated initiative and the ability to handle complex assignments with a proactive attitude
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring diagrams
Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools
Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls when necessary
Organized, self-starter, results oriented, unique problem solver
