Responsibilities
Procedure support: pre-op checks, induction assistance, primary anesthesia monitoring, recovery oversight
Clinical operations: room tech duties, triage support, treatments, clear charting, and inventory/restock
Client experience: translate medical jargon into friendly guidance and education; set expectations and follow-up
Team flow: partner with DVMs and RVTs to keep schedules tight and patients safe in a seven-day operation
Qualification
Required
You've got a current North Carolina Veterinary Technician License, you're official, and we love it!
You are available and willing to work rotating weekend shifts
Experience thriving in a fast-paced vet hospital, think controlled chaos with lots of wagging tails
Communication is your jam, whether you're explaining meds to pet parents or swapping stories with the team at lunch
You've got hands-on experience in a clinical setting and know your way around a stethoscope
Anatomy, physiology, medical procedure, you speak fluent 'vet'!
You can wrangle a wiggly pup or a feisty feline with calm, confidence, and a whole lot of compassion
