Responsibilities

Provide care to our critical patients including those receiving extracorporeal therapy like hemodialysis and therapeutic plasma exchange

Work in collaboration with our boarded criticalists, skilled technicians, and assistants to provide high quality, progressive medical care to your patients

Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR

Place IVC's and advanced catheters like central lines, PICC lines, and arterial catheters

Use advanced monitoring like direct arterial blood pressure, capnography, and continuous telemetry

Assisting in the ICU, including monitor and care for patients receiving mechanical ventilation and other critical patients

Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers

Assisting with maintenance in the department including stocking

Required

VTS or interested in pursuing your VTS (ECC)

Interest in Extracorporeal Therapies and Mechanical Ventilation

Experience as a credentialed technician

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to provide care to critical patients including those receiving extracorporeal therapy like hemodialysis and therapeutic plasma exchange

Collaboration with boarded criticalists, skilled technicians, and assistants

Ability to identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR

Ability to place IVC's and advanced catheters like central lines, PICC lines, and arterial catheters
