This role is responsible for overseeing the administrative unit that includes Alumni Relations, Foundation, and Development, and serves as the principal liaison between the WIU Foundation Board of Directors and the University Administration.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the administrative unit which has within its organizational structure the following areas: Alumni Relations, Foundation, and Development
Supervise the Directors of these areas, as well as the Scholarship Coordinator
Report directly to the President
Serve as the principal liaison between WIU Foundation Board of Directors and the University Administration
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree is required; an earned master's degree from an accredited institution is preferred
Minimum of three years of senior administrative experience as an advancement, foundation, and/or alumni relations professional
Demonstrated record of leadership and accomplishments in advancement with a proven track record of fundraising/gift success, campaign planning and major gift solicitations from individuals and organizations
Comprehensive knowledge of strategies employed in all major development and alumni functions
Proven leadership skills and ability to work with diverse individuals and groups
For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body). Unless otherwise stated, the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment
