They are seeking an entry-level Industrial Engineer to provide technical direction in various industrial engineering functions and coordinate with manufacturing and project engineering departments. The role involves implementing work measurement techniques, analyzing methods for improvements, and preparing cost estimates and manpower analysis.

Responsibilities

Implements work measurement techniques, evaluates results and recommends subsequent improvements

Recognizes the need, analyzes and recommends improved methods, systems, procedures and material flow

Coordinates and implements methodology improvements

Prepares cost estimates and comparisons of existing alternatives and presents findings to appropriate supervisory/managerial personnel

Prepares, analyzes, and presents manpower estimates and project budget requirements

Develops and recommends material handling and plant and office layout analyses

Analyzes, develops and processes appropriation requests, coordinates through implementation and follow-up

Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, project engineering, quality engineering and other operating functions to prepare personnel and material activity measurements
