Responsibilities

Collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS to design, develop, test, and deploy cloud solution components

Work within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps

Use products like Kubernetes to further the mission

Explore different ways of solving our client’s problems

Partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions

Modernize legacy computing platforms and applications or create new ones from scratch

Qualification

Required

5+ years of experience in cloud-based systems architecting

Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, or Management Information Systems and 1+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect, or 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect in lieu of a degree

Cloud Certifications, including Cloud Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified, Cisco Certified Networking Administrator – Cloud, Cisco Certified Network Professional – Cloud, IBM Certified Cloud Solution Architect, MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP7-CMA) certifications

Preferred

Experience designing, implementing, and operating in DevSecOps

Experience with IC or DoD program or project work

Knowledge of object-oriented software with languages such as Java, C++, Python or Ruby in SOA applications preferred

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, or Management Information Systems
