EDG Inc. is a subsidiary of K-Temp Inc. seeking a Structural Drafting Intern. The role involves preparing 2D drawings for complex offshore/onshore structural systems using CAD software under the guidance of experienced staff.

Responsibilities

Prepare 2D drawings for assigned projects from sketches or SACs model output files and/or verbal instructions

Work with Lead on technical details and specify dimensions, materials

Work with Lead to draft Skids/Modules structural, from concept through AFC

Work with Lead to draft Onshore/Offshore structures, from concept through AFC

Draft multi-discipline supports details, from concept through AFC

Edit drawings and incorporate changes from provided markups and/or verbal instructions

Assist engineers and designers in resolving design issues on the drawings

Interact with design team for resolving drafting/design related issues

Ensure that all drawings adhere to Client, Industry and Company Standards

Maintain project files and folders and follow company standards

Responsible for informing discipline leads on any and all concerns relating to their respective assignments

Be part of a team to perform field work as required to obtain accurate information and create sketches for the design of the project (duration determined by the project requirements and project management)
