Responsibilities
Organize all received tax bills for assigned clients
Find missing tax bills by interfacing with various government databases
Identify specific information including payee, amount due and due date
Enter tax bill information into Advantax’s compliance processing software
Update required process tracking documents
Review that information entered matches information received
Provide weekly missing tax bill reports
Scan tax bills and save to the Advantax server
Create tax bill invoicing for client's review and approval
Prepare tax bill payments for mailing
Seasonally assist with entry of tax assessment notices
Seasonally assist with tracking of assessor inquiries on Advantax system
Additional responsibilities as necessary, identified by Advantax management
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or higher preferred
1-2 years' previous payables experience preferred
Good verbal and written communication
Strong business acumen
Ability to communicate with jurisdictional representatives when required
Strong grasp of basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook)
Strong work ethic
Exceeding attention to detail
Great time management and ability to work independently
Minimal to no tax experience necessary
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
