Content Marketing Manager

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary content authority for all MSE projects, providing expert review, feedback, and approval to ensure quality, brand consistency, and strategic alignment
Develop, implement, and manage the comprehensive SGI content calendar, coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables to support marketing objectives and business goals
Lead the strategic allocation of content resources, working with contractor writers and editors to assign projects based on expertise, capacity, and project requirements to ensure optimal outcomes
Establish and maintain up-to-date brand content style guides and product guides, conducting regular training sessions to ensure all team members understand and adhere to brand standards
Spearhead the ongoing maintenance and strategic improvement of the SGI website, with particular focus on the Resources section, implementing SEO best practices and content optimization strategies to drive traffic and engagement
Identify, evaluate, and implement AI tools and technologies to enhance content creation, optimization, and distribution processes, balancing automation with human creativity to maintain authenticity and quality
Collaborate with marketing strategists to develop content strategies that align with business objectives and resonate with target audiences across multiple channels
Monitor content performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports and insights to inform future content decisions and demonstrate ROI
Guide the development and execution of content for high-priority marketing initiatives, ensuring messaging consistency and strategic alignment
Other duties, as dictated by departmental priorities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
5+ years of experience in content management, content marketing, or similar role, with demonstrated expertise in developing and executing content strategies
Proven track record in managing editorial calendars, content workflows, and resource allocation
Strong understanding of SEO principles, content optimization techniques, and digital marketing best practices
Experience with content management systems, analytics tools, and project management software
Knowledge of AI applications in content creation and marketing, including generative AI tools and automation platforms
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail
Strong leadership abilities with experience managing contractors or team members
Ability to balance creative thinking with analytical, data-driven decision making
Must have a positive working attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment
