They are seeking a Sales Manager to oversee the inside sales department and drive revenue growth for their magazine and digital brands. The role involves supervising a team of Account Executives, developing new clients, and executing sales strategies to achieve departmental goals.

Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of the aspirations and competitive advantages of FenderBender and Ratchet+Wrench’s superior products and advertising programs
Effectively supervise the regional sales division of the company to produce a well run, organized team to achieve the revenue goals of the department
Develop new clients
Identify, develop and close sales opportunities
Develop new advertising programs to drive sales
Develop and oversee client marketing and communications tactics
Manage exhibitor logistics and presence at industry events as necessary
Develop and execute client-facing sales presentations and materials
Execute monthly sales team meetings
Execute monthly one-on-one meetings with individual sales team members
Schedule and plan monthly sales team training/coaching sessions in tandem with third-party sales trainer
Assess and analyze sales team activity and call reports to enforce achievement of daily and monthly sales KPI expectations
Directly engage with clients through outbound phone calls and emails
Assist sales team with proposal development, execution, and presentation

Has a great attitude

Has a background in sales/telesales
Must be local (Twin Cities area)

Preferred

Has a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience preferred (not required)
Has 3+ years of experience in a related field preferred (not required)
Has supervisory/management experience preferred (not required)
