Responsibilities
Read and interpret patterns, sketches, and technical drawings
Perform fittings and make adjustments to ensure proper garment fit for both child and adult undergarments apparel. Provide actionable feedback to improve product design
Collaborate with designers and production team to meet quality and timeline standards
Inspect finished garments for accuracy, quality, and consistency
Maintain a professional report with research participants during fitting sessions and follow safety protocols
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in sewing or fashion is a plus
Proven experience as a seamstress or in garment construction
2+ years experience performing apparel fittings and alterations
Proficiency in hand sewing and operating industrial sewing machines
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and time management skills
Preferred
Experience with specialty fabrics (e.g., silk, leather, stretch materials)
Knowledge of pattern making and garment design
Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related field
