Grant Accountant
Community Teamwork is a private non-profit organization dedicated to reducing barriers and creating opportunities for low-income individuals and families. The Grant Accountant will be responsible for various accounting activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and financial reporting, ensuring adherence to the organization’s fiscal policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and review GL/Contract coding for accuracy
Review P&Ls for each contract individually and analyze expenses against budgeted/allowed within contract
Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze and interpret financial information
Meet contract billing and reporting deadlines
Reconcile contract advances and monitor account receivables
Assist with the closing of contracts and fiscal year audit
Uphold the values of CTI – Equity, Integrity, Compassion
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree required
Minimum 2 years related accounting experience
Excellent computer skills including Excel, and accounting software
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience with federal/state grants and contracts preferable
