Responsibilities

Lead and guide a team of developers in the design, development, and maintenance of complex software applications using Angular and Java

Architect and implement scalable and secure solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other development teams to define and deliver new features

Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices

Continuously monitor, optimize, and improve the performance of existing applications

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the use of cutting-edge solutions

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full development stack

Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

5+ years of professional experience in software development & 2+ Years as Team lead

Strong proficiency in Angular and Java, with experience in developing complex, high-performance applications

Extensive experience with AWS services

In-depth understanding of front-end and back-end development processes

Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services

Proven ability to lead and manage development projects from concept to completion

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively

Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience with caching optimizations and event-driven architecture

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker, ECR, and ECS

Experience with relational databases (i.e. PostgreSQL, SQL Server)

Must be authorized to work in the U.S

Must be able to successfully pass a background check

Preferred

Experience with Python will be an added advantage
