Responsibilities
Partner with credit, risk, and lending teams to gather and document detailed reporting requirements
Analyze existing reporting frameworks and identify gaps across commercial loan products
Define data sources, metrics, and business logic for underwriting and risk management reports
Collaborate with BI/SAS/Reporting teams to translate business needs into technical specifications
Support testing and validation of reports to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
Maintain traceability between business requirements, data elements, and reporting outputs
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of experience in commercial lending and credit environments
Proven ability to document reporting requirements for: Asset-backed lending, Letters of credit, Construction loans, Entertainment finance, Other specialized commercial loan products
Strong understanding of credit underwriting, risk rating models, and portfolio risk reporting
Familiarity with regulatory reporting (e.g., CECL, Basel, internal risk dashboards)
Experience working with data teams, reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), and SQL-based environments
Preferred
Exposure to commercial lending systems and data warehouses
Ability to bridge business and technical teams with clear, structured documentation
Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
Knowledge of data governance and metadata management best practices
