Start in 2026 FallEngineering Systems Inc. (ESi) is seeking an Engineering Intern for the Fall 2026 semester. The intern will provide technical support and assist engineering consultants with inspections, analysis, and testing of various equipment, while completing a mandatory research project by the end of the internship.

Responsibilities
Provides technical support and assists engineering consultants with inspections, analysis and testing of vehicles, industrial machinery, consumer products and other equipment
Assist in scene surveys, inspections and generation of maps and layout drawings
Assists in application of scientific principles, engineering methods and techniques to a variety of projects
Mandatory research project must be completed by the end of the Internship and is expected to require approximately 40 hours of effort
Qualification
Required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Verbal and Written Communication
Intermediate skills with CAD and office productivity software
Strong mechanical aptitude
Six months' working experience is preferred/required
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering
Must have completed at least Freshman year
Academic good standing at an ABET accredited engineering school
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be able to travel for trips of three days in length

AutoCAD
Machine shop, machine tools, woodworking tools
Demonstrated familiarity with automotive systems
Data acquisition and instrumentation
Major in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Materials Science, Civil/Structural Engineering
3.30 GPA or higher, preferred
