Responsibilities
Design and analyze structural systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood for aviation, education, civic, tribal, commercial, and federal facilities
Develop calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and construction documents that align with project goals
Perform load calculations, seismic and wind analysis, and material-specific design
Apply building codes, IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI standards to ensure functional, compliant solutions
Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and team coordination efforts
Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal teams to deliver integrated outcomes
Support QA/QC efforts and construction administration activities, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and site visits
Lead structural scopes, oversee deliverables, and mentor junior staff (mid- and senior-level roles)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering
FE exam passed and actively pursuing PE licensure (for Mid-Level)
5+ years of progressive experience (for Mid-Level)
Demonstrated ability to lead design efforts and coordinate small to mid-scale projects (for Mid-Level)
Active PE license (for Senior Engineer)
10+ years of progressive experience leading structural design for large-scale or complex projects (for Senior Engineer)
Proficiency in Revit
Strong understanding of building systems, documentation standards, and interdisciplinary coordination
Preferred
Knowledge of structural analysis software such as RISA-3D, RISA Floor, RISA Foundation, or Adapt
Experience in sectors such as aviation, civic, commercial, tribal, mission critical, or federal work
