Responsibilities

Build sales training program and manage all aspects of initial sales training, including but not limited to program agendas and objectives, at-home study plans, virtual or live-classroom training, and providing trainee evaluations post program to leadership
Lead and execute virtual and live training sessions for field-based teams, during all onboarding and lifecycle management phases, including launch. This will include the ability to lead 'Train-The-Trainer' workshops ahead of national meetings and POAs, running workshops during those meetings, and leading onboarding and training programs for new hires Implement an onboarding plan for sales team members that covers disease state education, product training, and selling skills
Design selling model to include training principles and business objectives for comprehensive customer engagement to drive performance
Conduct field rides to provide real-time training, identify best practices, and capture training gaps
Strengthen front-line leadership coaching effectiveness
Partner with Sales Leadership and Marketing to define training goals that translate strategy into effective field execution
Continuously enhance training programs to support onboarding, development, and long-term performance
Identify knowledge and skill gaps; create competency-based learning solutions to close those gaps
Evaluate training effectiveness; evolve programs to sustain and elevate field capabilities
Oversee training logistics, communications, and content updates
Track and maintain all records related to completed modules, assessments, and certifications
Manage field training communications, including FAQs and ongoing updates, to ensure alignment and clarity across the commercial team
Ensure alignment and message consistency across Sales, Marketing, and Market Access
Drive the Promotional Review Committee (PRC) process with Legal, Regulatory, and Medical standards process for training deliverables, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time progression through review and approval
Manage external vendors to create and deliver impactful, compliant training content
Manage Learning Management System (LMS) usage and performance tracking

Required

Bachelor's degree required (Education, Business, Life Sciences, or related field preferred)
7+ years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience
High clinical acumen and ability to simplify complex information
Demonstrated success aligning training with strategic business goals
Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills – both in-person and virtual
Strong project management and organizational capabilities
Experience with document review systems, such as Veeva Vault PromoMats
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; agility to adapt quickly
Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence skills
Proficiency in MS Office, LMS platforms, and virtual training tools
Ability to travel up to 30% with periods of 70% travel required for launch phases and national/regional meetings
Self-starter with the ability to flex and handle ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Proven facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage and motivate diverse field audiences
Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course quickly
Ability to manage external vendors and evaluate proposals to maximize spend, quality of work, and timelines
Commitment to compliance and understanding of Promotional Review Committee processes
Ability to capture feedback, identify training gaps, and continuously improve resources and programs
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint and Word

Preferred

5+ years of pharmaceutical training, sales leadership, or commercial learning and development
