Responsibilities

Implement and test V2X protocol stacks (e.g., LTE-V2X, 5G NR Sidelink) for global standards compliance

Optimize wireless communication for low latency and high reliability using dual-radio systems

Assist in RF performance testing with tools like Keysight’s PathWave to simulate real-world conditions

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure interoperability across US, EU, and China V2X standards

Required

Pursuing a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field

Coursework in wireless communications, signal processing, or networking

Available for a 3-6 month internship (summer or part-time)

Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (e.g., Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G) from coursework or projects

Programming skills in C/C++ or Python for protocol stack development and testing

Understanding of networking concepts (e.g., OSI model, UDP/IP, TCP/IP) to grasp V2X communication layers

Analytical skills to troubleshoot signal interference and latency issues

Passion for learning 3GPP standards and RF systems, with guidance from senior engineers
