Law Practice

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate commercial real estate transactions (acquisitions, financings, development, and dispositions) from contract to closing
Prepare and review a wide range of real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, closing checklists, and title and survey review summaries with precision
Coordinate due diligence efforts, including obtaining and reviewing title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and environmental reports
Assist with drafting and filing corporate formation and governance documents related to real estate transactions
Support the team in managing closings and post-closing matters
Maintain organized files and databases related to real estate transactions
Communicate proactively and effectively with clients, title companies, surveyors, and other third parties

Required

Significant experience drafting contracts, purchase agreements, and sale agreements, as well as ancillary documents
Strong knowledge of real estate documents, title/survey review, and closing procedures
Proven experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Experience working successfully in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Demonstrated track record of managing all aspects of commercial closings from start to finish
Ability to deliver professional and accurate results on commercial real estate matters
Ability to work independently using sound judgment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial real estate law
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree or higher is preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is essential

Preferred

Proficiency in Qualia is preferred
Paralegal certification or degree preferred but not required
