Responsibilities
Assist in building Power BI dashboards using provided data models and source connections
Develop and refine visualizations using DAX and Power Query (M)
Work with Excel/CSV and SharePoint files to prepare data for ingestion
Maintain and update dashboards with current data according to defined schedules
Participate in stakeholder feedback sessions and incorporate usability improvements
Document visualizations, data sources, and refresh processes for reuse
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen
DoD Clearance required (Active or Interim)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CISSP, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.)
One (1+) year of experience developing reports using Power BI or similar visualization tools
Familiar with DAX, Power Query (M), and complex data modeling
Familiar with Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, and SharePoint tools
Familiar with Azure Synapse, Vantage, and Advana platforms
Microsoft PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
Preferred
Active DoD Security Clearance
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field
Microsoft PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
Data Modeling: Star/Snowflake schemas, normalized structures
UX/UI: Advanced visualization design and interactivity
Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment
A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
