They are seeking a Co-op Quality Engineering intern who will work on engineering and process improvement projects, optimize the Scrap Database Catalog, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

Investigate and measure current states for all scrap process catalogs

Create database catalog that clearly captures casual areas for scrap process, analytics and reporting

Work with production and engineering teams to verify proper scrap coding and classification

Assist with created and updating standard work instructions, checklists, and quality documentation related to scrap handling

Observe, learn, and practice the fundamentals of quality management systems (QMS), Lean Manufacturing, and problem solving tools

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Data Science or related field

Experience in Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent communication ability (written & verbal)

Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results

Assertive approach to solving problems

Ability to prioritize

Experience building reports in Power BI
