Responsibilities
Design and develop battery and charger control systems
Develop and optimize control algorithms, enhancing system efficiency, performance, and reliability
Lead the testing and integration of battery control systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards
Work closely with engineers from diverse disciplines—electric, mechanical, software, and more—to integrate and optimize electrical systems for mining applications
Play a key role in shaping next-gen technologies, including integrating battery systems, high-voltage components, and charging infrastructure that power sustainable mining solutions
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience designing electrical systems, ideally for battery systems in automotive or heavy equipment
Experience with high-voltage systems and thermal management
Expertise in harness design, control systems, and sensor integration
Proficient in CAD tools (e.g., E3, SolidWorks) and simulation software (e.g., Simulink, Python)
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Eager to learn and excited about the future of battery technology, especially lithium-ion, solid-state, and mining industry applications
Always curious and motivated to stay ahead of the curve
