The intern will assist experienced technicians in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections

Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed

Communicate effectively with customers and team members

Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines

Qualification

Diesel engines knowledgeHeavy-duty truck systemsASE certificationDiagnostic tools familiarityProblem-solving skillsCommunication skillsInterpersonal skillsAttention to detail

Required

Enrollment in a technical school or equivalent program

Basic knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty truck systems

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

Previous experience in a similar role

ASE certification or equivalent

Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
