Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow

Responsibilities

Provide psychotherapy services, including private and school based
Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations, including private and school based
Attend meetings associated with school-based clients, including MDT and IEP meetings
Meet deadlines as designated by the company for submission of reports and notes
Maintain documentation for all therapy clients and assessments and provide the proper documentation in the EMR and updates to the MECCA spreadsheet and to officers as requested
Attend individual and group supervision as designated by the company
Attend monthly didactic trainings as designated by the company
Participate in tiered supervision of externs and Master’s level clinicians
Maintains the privacy of client’s personal health information as required by state and federal law
Report any suspected maltreatment of suspected abuse or neglect consistent with maltreatment reporting laws
Demonstrate knowledge of emergency policy and procedure
Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner; practice all safety procedures
Maintain timely response to phone and email communications with all parties involved, including company, clients, and school personnel
Represent The MECCA Group, in the spirit in which the agency wishes to be represented in meetings and at various events
Participate in mandatory Orientation, HIPPA, Ethics, Mandatory Abuse Reporter trainings, as required

Required

Doctoral Degree in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology
Completion of one-year full time APA accredited internship providing therapy and conducting assessments
DC Psychology Associate License

Preferred

Experience with special needs populations and familiarity with IDEA preferred, but not required
Experience working with underserved and populations of color highly desired
Male clinicians and Spanish speaking clinicians encouraged to apply
