Start in 2026 SummerCornerstone Building Brands, the largest manufacturer of external building products in North America, is offering a Supply Chain Intern position for Summer 2026. This role focuses on gaining hands-on experience in supply planning, purchasing, and inventory management, with responsibilities including developing processes, tools, and training materials to optimize inventory and improve customer service.

Responsibilities
Partner with cross-functional team-members to understand and document current state and to compile recommendations
Develop new processes, tools and training materials and share across organization
Specific project work may include:
Auditing our purchasing department’s current supplier stocking settings and developing tools and processes to refresh and sustain changes
Developing new reports and planning alerts to optimize our inventory turns and customer service level (production expedites, plant redeployments, product lifecycle management, etc.)
Supporting strategic project advancements of our MRP execution and plant scheduling
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree program majoring in supply chain or related is required
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy - Proficiency in Excel
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
Familiarity with basic supply chain processes – and methodologies such as MRP and inventory analysis
