Qualification

Required

Associate's degree Applied Science
Other completion of accredited program in cardiovascular technology Must obtain RCIS within 6 months of hire
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent 2 Years work experience in invasive cardiology
2 Years required with high school diploma
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire
RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Obtain within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited Program Upon Hire
RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist For Electrophysiology Labs (EP) Only Upon Hire
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days

Preferred

1 Year vascular or cardiac angiography
GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist If ARRT Only Upon Hire
LMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist If RCIS Only Upon Hire
