They are seeking a Licensed Engineer to perform preventive maintenance duties and modifications of buildings and equipment under the supervision of the Director of Plant Operation.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, the Licensed Engineer reports to the Director of Plant Operation and performs a variety of routine or skilled preventive maintenance duties in the repair, alteration, & modification of buildings, equipment, & facilities

Required

Three (3) years of experience as a plant operator. Acute hospital setting is preferred

High School graduate or equivalent required

Associates of Arts degree in Engineering or technical disciplines in Plant Operations, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or equivalent

Ability to demonstrate knowledge of equipment, controls, and building automation maintenance

Ability to read blueprints, schematic drawings and technical manuals

Light locksmith skills

Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills

Basic organizational and computer skills

Steam Engineer License, Electrician License, Journeyman or certification in a specific trade (Boiler, HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrician, Plumbing) OR 10 years minimum experience

Environment Protection Agency required

Valid CA Driver's License required
