Responsibilities

Evaluate sealing strategies (O-rings, laser-welded joints, adhesives) for small fluid systems
Evaluate a plastic-on-plastic interface between two components to provide a seal in lieu of a standard O-ring or gasket
Recommend best design practices for high-pressure or low-flow systems
Design a manifold that evenly splits flow across multiple outlets
Use CFD to optimize geometry, then prototype and test
Simulate laminar-to-turbulent transition in a channel or nozzle
Validate with experimental Reynolds number-based measurements

Required

Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Fluidics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechatronics, or a related field
Basic understanding of fluid systems
Solidworks experience, CFD Simulation, Hands on testing, report creation, data driven recommendations
Familiarity with basic statistics
Hands-on experience with measurement tools, prototyping, and prototype testing is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Eagerness to learn and a genuine interest in testing and technology
Previous internship, personal projects, or coursework related to hardware development, reliability, or product quality is advantageous
