All college students are encouraged to apply, with preference given to students who are either studying at or have recently completed a degree at a Bay Area four-year or community college
This position is full-time, based in San Francisco and likely Monday-to-Friday
Weekend, evening and holiday work may be required as news warrants
Strong writing skills are important, as is a strict dedication to accuracy, fairness and inclusiveness
Someone eager to find and chase good stories, with an eye for the details, headlines, angles and quotes that will capture readers' attention

Preferred

Strong college publication experience or previous internships preferred, but not required
