Responsibilities
Operates the telephone switchboard and routes calls to appropriate personnel
Announces necessary codes with accuracy and implements emergency response and Rapid Response teams utilizing electronic methods
Promptly reports all alarm variances to the security of facilities department as appropriate
Exercises sound judgement in the process and issuance of code requests to include assessing severity, type, authenticity, etc
Announces all codes in a timely, clear, and calm manner
Obtains all necessary information from callers
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years' experience in a customer service role required
Preferred
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience utilizing multi-line switchboard in a healthcare environment preferred
