Responsibilities
Performs general roundsman duties such as: completing work order requests, major and minor equipment repairs, general building/facilities deficiencies inspections and repairs
Remove and replace various lamps in light fixtures
Remove and replace stained ceiling tile
Performs miscellaneous helper and laborer functions when assigned to skilled trade teams
Performs grounds maintenance duties when assigned such as, but not limited to: exterior entrance cleaning, Performs cleaning tasks to assigned work areas, and other areas when requested
Maintain documents, records and information pertinent to meeting Health System & Engineering safety standards, including policies and procedures using software programs and manual recording
Qualification
Required
One year previous experience in commercial building maintenance with basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, and general building components, including exterior grounds maintenance
High school diploma, GED or successful completion of 12 grades combined with continued enrollment in early college program
Must complete ASHE within 3 years
Basic knowledge of power tools, hand tools and their uses
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with good trouble shooting abilities as normally obtained through work experience or mechanical education
Basic computer proficiency and ability to operate a work order system
