Group 10-01 | SRP Intern | ISR Systems & Architectures | Summer 2026
MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a summer intern for the ISR Systems and Architectures group, which focuses on developing concepts to enhance U.S. ISR capabilities. The intern will work on modeling and analysis of ISR tactical systems, developing mathematical models of system performance, and implementing these models in MATLAB.

Responsibilities
Work on a project related to the modeling and analysis of ISR tactical systems
Develop mathematical models of system performance based on physical principles and engineering
Implement the models in the MATLAB programming language
Create and demonstrate new modeling capabilities
Use the models to perform analysis to answer a mission-relevant question
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate (sophomore year or higher) or graduate student (master's degree or PhD candidate)
Major in physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aeronautics/astronautics, computer science, or software engineering
Experience with MATLAB or a similar programming language
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance
U.S. citizenship is required
