Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, development, and execution of the travel assistance product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends
Integrate assistance services into insurance products, promote program awareness, and identify opportunities for growth through market research
Serve as subject matter expert in cross-functional and client/broker meetings; develop training and enablement materials; communicate program updates and insights to stakeholders
Manage relationships and performance of global medical and security assistance vendors, ensuring compliance, driving improvements, and supporting contract renewals
Oversee daily operations, act as escalation point for critical incidents, maintain accurate customer data, participate in on-call rotation, and provide program reporting and analytics
Qualification
Required
5+ years' experience in product management, insurance operations, and/or business analysis within health and travel insurance, or assistance services
Strong understanding of global insurance products and services, and/or experience working with international healthcare and travel assistance companies that include third-party emergency medical and security services
Proven ability to balance strategic product ownership with hands-on operational execution
Demonstrated experience managing or partnering with external service providers, including performance monitoring and audits
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to communicate complex service models to diverse audiences
Analytical skills with experience in reporting, trend analysis, and data-driven decision-making
Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, healthcare, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Flexibility to support occasional after-hours escalations or urgent operational needs
