They are seeking Co-Op Engineers for Spring/Summer 2025-2026 to assist in various basic engineering tasks related to traction power and overhead contact systems. Responsibilities include preparing design documents, assisting in the design of traction power systems, and supporting inspections and field surveys.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of documents for the design of both AC and DC railroad traction power systems such as 600/750V DC rail transit traction power substations and 25/12kV AC rail transit traction power substations for transit systems

Assist in designing traction power and auxiliary electrical systems including layouts of traction power substations, cables and conduit layouts, control systems and auxiliary electrical systems such as lighting and equipment power

Assist in providing design services for traction power and railroad projects under construction

Contribute to layouts of catenary systems and support structures

Assist with material lists and construction drawings

Support inspections and field surveys of existing OCS installations

Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties

Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects

Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned

Performs other duties as assigned
